Abstract:
Characteristics of temperature, carbon monoxide, spatial and temporal
distribution of urban heat island and its relationship with land use change
are very important tool for urban planning in the changing climate. In Megacities,
there are needs to develop heat vulnerability index and hot spot maps
which would be a good toolkit for urban planning, environmental management
and other decision/policy making in creating a climate smart city in the
future.
